Adam

Not related to book but I just wanted to tell everyone, if you haven’t already, check out the movie Adam.  It was absolutely amazing.  I laughed.  I cried.  I loved everything about it.  I even would venture to say that it is my new all time favorite movie.   My list would go something like this…

Writing, writing, writing

I have edited 11 out of 18 chapters. I am so excited. At the same time, I’m feeling ready to be done. Isn’t that weird? I hear all the time about writers getting obsessive about wanting their story to be perfect so editing non stop. I don’t think that is going to be the case [...]

Lost theory

Who thinks the two plots are actually one? Anyone?
The temple part is 2007 and the plane/not crashing is in 2004 right? Instead of them being different realities are they somehow just different times of the same story?
Sorry this is really random. I would love to hear at the end of the series [...]

I love Jersey Shore

Just saying.

I have been a huge New Jersey fan forever.  I have vacationed there three times.  It is amazing.  The show makes me laugh.  The only part of the Jersey Shore I’ve seen is Asbury Park which is completely different.  When I’ve been there it was all emo kids.  Again, amazing.   I have given serious [...]

Young Adult=Sex?

Over the last year I have read a lot more young adult books than I have in the past.  I came up with a concept for a book and the more I got into mapping out how I wanted it to go, the more I realized that it would be a YA book.  The [...]

On book banning…

Alright since I gave you some history and fact yesterday, I thought tonight I would share some personal thoughts.  Let me start by saying I love that there is a Book Banning Week.  It is a great week to bring light to the subject.  Many people don’t think this is still an issue today [...]

Labron James gives credit where it is due

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090921/ap_en_re/us_book_review_shooting_stars
This is a really good review.  I just came across it and instantly was like, I WANT to read that book.  Sport memiors are not even my thing at all.  Actually, the only one I have read was Drive by Larry Byrd.  It was for class.  However, this writer makes Labron James’ new books [...]

Examining the Wild Things

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090914/ap_en_ot/us_book_review_making_mischief
Not surprisingly, an author is coming out with a book about Where the Wild Things are and it’s author Maurice Sendak.  The movie is coming out here soon so of course someone is capitalizing on it.
Sorry, I know that is a pretty negative outlook but that was my first reaction when I saw [...]
