The tagline of “Who will give into Darkness?” definately caught my attention.  Any guesses?  I’m going to say Clary but I really have no idea.

Superhero- Captain Lights from the Lights motion comic on YouTube.  Purple tank, with black leggings in a barn.

Gaming- Dressed up as Harley Quinn from Batman.  Red/black bra and same colors on the skirt. Blonde wig in pigtails.

I think for starters, I am going to try to write a review on every book I write.  I know I need to get in the habit of writing more on here so I think that is a good place to start.  Going to set my reading goal at 60 again this year since that is how much I read in 2010.  To see what all I read click the link towards the top of the page.

Currently I’m reading A Shore Thing by Snooki.  Yes, I am enjoying it.  A lot actually.  Can’t wait to review it.

Also, I’ll try to get back into doing news type stuff every now and then.  Plus of course writing updates.

Celebrating beating NaNoWriMo!

Yep that is right, I wrote 50,000 words in one month.  It needs a lot of editting but I like what I came up with.  I think it is a very good base for something good.

I went on vacation so have been not reading or writing in a bit.  Finally just finished Firestorm by Rachel Caine.  I’m so in love with the Weather Warden series I wish I could make them last forever.  It’s sad that there is only four more to read.  Well then the Outcast Season series of course. 

Side story, today I was at Target looking over the book section when I heard a couple trying to decided what books to buy a teenage girl for Christmas.  Apparently she asked for Twilight and the Vampire Diaries.  They were very sure she had already read them though so wanted to get her something else.  They were picking around other books by LJ Smith and the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead.  Being nosy I made a comment about how I had read a lot of the series if they had questions.  Then I pointed them in the direct of the Morganville Vampire series.  They ended up getting some of them.  I really need to work in a bookstore, lol.  I love doing stuff like that.

Also Target had The Vampire Diares tv series on sale. I haven’t watched the show but I’ve read the books so I decided to pick it up.  I’m about twenty minutes in right now.  So far I’m liking it. The little brother is bugging me but I guess it adds a different/more human storyline.   And the Salvator boarding house with his uncle?  Do we really not get the old lady whose name I’m spacing on?  She was so badass.  How can you not include her? Oh well. I’ll write more about what I think as I watch more.

So what has everyone else been up to this month?

Almost done with Chill Factor by Rachel Caine.  So good.

But I picked up Virals by Kathy Reichs today and I can’t wait to start it.

So completely true and definately gave me an extra boast of confidence in my own writing. 

Okay off to get ready for the first of many Halloween parties.  Hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween weekend.

Sorry I haven’t written much lately.  As soon as I finish Kiss of Death by Rachel Caine I intend to recap the series so far.  I also have a couple things that I want to write about Tucker Max. 

In other news, I’m gettings tons of views a day which is completely awesome! GATSBYS IS BACK!!!

If you haven’t heard of them, check them out.  A lot of their songs are based on books.  They have even done concept albums based on Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies ago others.  Their songs are completely amazing.  Every peice of them is well written.

Plus their singer is HOT.
