This little blurb talks about a 91 year old women about to check out her 250,000th book for the library. How cool is that? I would absolutely love to sit down and ask her what some of her favorites are.
The article also said that she reads about 12 books a week. I can’t even imagine. I read anywhere between 1-3. My goal is to read 50 books before the end of this year. What I’ve read so far is in my sidebar under reading list. This lady reads more than that in just one month.
I have a feeling she is probably one of the smartest people in the world. Books teach you so much. Even if it just gives you a little different perspective, you take something from about every book you read. Can’t you imagine how much you would know about the world after reading 250,000 books!
The part about how she has never got a late fee made me smile. I just picture her as this little sweet lady that everyone in the library is happy to see come in. Such a nice article to start this week with.
