Uncovering Robert Langdon

So today the cover for The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown was revealed.

I personally can’t wait for the book.  I read both of the first ones in like two days a piece.  Brown does a great job at bringing elements of history to life.  The movie version of Angels and Demons was awful though.  It was way to far from the book.  They changed things that happened with key characters which I did not like at all.

From the cover it looks like this time the story will take place in Washington DC.   I think it will be fun to see him bring alive some history stuff that I should be able to remember for US history 101-103.  I always took a lot of history classes as electives.  Most of them were greek and roman but I did do some US ones too.  National Treasure is one of my favorite movies (so was the second one) so I’m curious to see how much the book has in common with it.  From what I have heard the book is going to talk alot abot the Freemasons.  The stamp on the cover has something to do with them I think.

Are you excited about the new book?  Are you going to buy it right when it comes out?
